R&T Aviation is a Louisiana-based helicopter services company providing powerline and utility support, precision helicopter lifts, external-load operations, aerial firefighting and emergency and disaster response throughout Louisiana and the Gulf Coast. We work with utility companies, contractors and industrial customers to provide dependable aerial support for projects requiring precision, access and coordination.

R&T Aviation is an owner-operated helicopter company built around two things:

One side of R&T Aviation comes from years of experience running successful construction and field operations and working directly with customers. The other comes from the cockpit, with more than a decade of helicopter flying experience across a wide range of missions, including aerial firefighting, powerline construction and patrol, external-load operations, aircraft recovery, tours, offshore work and disaster relief.

Our chief pilot brings more than three decades of aviation experience, flying aircraft ranging from light utility helicopters to heavy military helicopters. His experience includes aerial firefighting, powerline and utility operations, and other demanding missions requiring precision, coordination and experienced flight operations.

We keep our operation intentionally focused. The people who plan the job, operate the aircraft and fly the missions are the same people our customers work with from start to finish. This hands-on approach allows us to provide dependable helicopter support with clear communication, careful planning and professional execution.

Our Services

R&T Aviation provides helicopter services for critical infrastructure, precision lift and emergency response operations throughout Louisiana and the Gulf Coast. Our capabilities include powerline patrol, construction and maintenance support; rooftop HVAC and equipment lifts; external-load operations; aerial firefighting; disaster response; and aircraft recovery. From a single rooftop lift to multi-week utility projects, we plan each mission carefully, coordinate with ground crews and keep the job moving.
